Here is a complete list of all of the Ajax products that you can have installed with your new wireless alarm system.
Let’s start with the Ajax motion detectors:
Ajax MotionProtect
A standard wireless motion detector that notifies the owner of an intrusion within 0.15 seconds. It has a motion detecting distance of 12 meters and should ignore any pets up to 20kg in weight and 50cm in height.
Ajax MotionProtect Plus
Like the original MotionProtect it notifies the owner of an intrustion with 0.15 seconds. It has a motion detecting distance of 12 meters and should ignore any pets up to 20kg in weight and 50cm in height. The MotionProtect plus is designed for rooms with a fireplace or air conditioner so it will ignore the movement of curtains or blinds and light flickering, glare and reflections.
Ajax MotionCam
The Ajax MotionCam requires the Hub2 or Hub2 Plus to operate. This motion detector has a built in photo camera to verify alarms. The built in camera will send you a series of pictures to your phone within 9 seconds of the alarm triggering so you know if it’s an intruder, or if somebody forgot to disarm the alarm. Like the original MotionCam, it has a motion detecting distance of 12 meters and should ignore any pets up to 20kg in wight and 50cm in height.
Ajax MotionProtect Outdoor
The MotionProtect Outdoor is designed to go outside and has dual PIR sensors to protect against false alarms. Like the original MotionProtect it notifies the owner of an intrusion with 0.15 seconds. It has a motion detecting distance of 3-12 meters and should ignore any pets up to 80cm in height.
Ajax DoorProtect
The Ajax DoorProtect is designed to fit onto doors and windows. The DoorProtect goes on the frame and the included magnet goes onto the door or window. Once the door or window is opened whilst the alarm is armed, the DoorProtect will send you a notification within 0.15 seconds, letting you know there has been an intrusion.
Ajax DoorProtect Plus
The DoorProtect Plus works just like the DoorProtect, but with a few additional features. It can be installed onto windows or garage doors that open upwards. Once it detects it has been tilted, it will sound the alarm and send you a notification within 0.15 seconds.
Ajax GlassProtect
The Ajax GlassProtect has a built in microphone that can recognise the sound of glass breaking and send you a notification within 0.15 seconds. It has two-factor detection, meaning things such as thunder, a dogs bark or passing trucks won’t trigger it. It can be installed up to 9 meters away from the desired protection zone.
Ok, that’s all of the motion detectors… It’s time for the Ajax buttons!:
Ajax KeyPad
The Ajax KeyPad can be used to arm and disarm your alarm system. It is mounted in the room near the entrance door to provide quick access to it. The sleek and smooth design fits into any home.
Ajax KeyFob
The Ajax KeyFob fits onto your keys and allows you to arm and disarm the alarm from a range of up to 1,300 meters (open space). This means you don’t have to use a keypad and you can remotely arm and disarm the alarm. The KeyFob also has a night mode button, allowing you to arm just the downstairs motion detectors when you’re in bed.
Ajax Panic Button
The panic button is designed for homes and businesses. It can either be carried around with you, or placed somewhere safe. When pressed, it will sound your alarm system, scaring off any intruders and if you have a monitoring company, monitoring your alarm system, it will let them know you need help.

Ajax HomeSiren
This small siren is designed to go indoors, with dimensions of 75 x 76 x 27mm it could blend in anywhere in your home/office. With an adjustable sound level between 81 – 105 dB, you should be able to hear your alarm has been sounded even if you don’t have the StreetSiren.
Ajax StreetSiren
The Ajax StreetSiren is designed to fit outside of your home. When an alarm is triggered, it will sound at a volume of 85 – 113 dB, this is changeable in the app. It also had LED indicators around the edge, so that it’s visible even at night.
Just a few little extras left:
Ajax FireProtect
The FireProtect is a fire alarm for your home. It has a built in siren, that has a volume of 85 dB. The device detects smoke by means of a camera with a photoelectric sensor. If no smoke is emitted, the additional detector registers a temperature increase in the room. This can also operate separate from a Ajax Hub.
Ajax FireProtect Plus
Just like the original FireProtect, but with an additional chemical element, that detects carbon oxide and raises the alarm.
Ajax LeakProtect
This small device can be placed on the floor, under a washing machine, dishwasher, bathtub or wherever a leak can take place. It has four pairs of contacts on the bottom of it, once water touches those contacts, it will send a notification to your phone, letting you know you have a leak.
Ajax Rex
The Ajax Rex allows you to have security on a massive scale. Installing a Rex into your alarm system increases the range that you can have devices, meaning you can cover huge building such as an office block, school, shopping centre, ect and control it all with just one hub. The original hub can only have 1 Rex connected to it, but the Hub Plus, Hub 2 and Hub 2 Plus, can each have 5 Rex connected at one time. Rex is perfect for covering a garage or shed not connected to the house. Even if for some reason, it looses it’s connection to the Hub, the Rex can take control and still trigger the alarm if motion is detected with one of the motion detects connected to it.
